Goodmorning is designed for people traveling by themselves. Yes, we’re in the heart of Lisbon but the location isn’t what makes us different.

It’s the setup:

Common areas designed with purpose so people actually hang out

Open-style kitchen where meals are shared together

An open bar that bridges the reception staff with the buzzing livingroom

Staff who introduce people: "Hey Sarah's also going to Sintra tomorrow"

Activities if you want them (day activities, nights out, maybe even karaoke to break the ice)

Privacy when you need it (curtains on every bed, nighttime quiet hours enforced)

Here's what actually happens:

Day 1:

You show up nervous or excited. Staff greets you, shows you around, offers you a drink.

Day 2:

You recognize faces from breakfast. One invites you to explore Belem with them (or is it you that invites someone?)

Day 3:

You’ve made plans with your favorite guests to have a beach day.

Day 4:

You already have inside jokes with other travellers.

Day 5:

You’re exchanging Instagrams and making plans to meet up in the next city.

“The best hostel in Lisbon. Breakfast with several options as it is a hostel, dinner is prepared in the main hall, making it possible to interact with the cook, new facilities, a large number of bathrooms and everything very clean, they offer complimentary towels, the rooms are locked and are opened with an individual card, every day there are interactive activities inside and outside the hostel. Exceptional location! Welcoming and very friendly staff, especially the cleaning team. It has a 24-hour reception.”

“I’m a very critical person and I say this was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Good facilities, bathrooms, with the option of a women-only bathroom, with hairdryers and everything. The bunk beds are comfortable, with curtains to maintain privacy. They provide lockers to store our things. The kitchen is super clean and spacious. But the highlight there is the interactions: super nice staff, people interacting with each other. For those traveling alone, it’s an excellent option to make friends. I participated in the karaoke night, the free group tours offered by the hostel. I made friends there that I will keep for the rest of my life.”

“Really ideal if you’re on your own! Plenty of opportunities to meet lovely people or keep yourself to yourself too if you’d prefer. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the beds were very comfy, rooms spacious with areas to store shoes, hang coats and lockers for personal belongings. Free towels handed out as and when needed. Centrally located with nice views of the city from the room and common area. Free breakfast, always plenty of options and the food was nice. Nice areas to relax or work in. Probably the best hostel I’ve stayed in where I’ve felt most at home. Makes it easy for a first time solo traveller.”

They gave fresh towels when needed, addressed concerns right away, and even helped with my laundry, which I really appreciated.
