Things to Do
(We'll Help You Plan)

Open bar
(Every Day)

Free beer and sangria for our “Not-So-Solo” (All-Inclusive) from 5pm to 10pm; or order as you go. This is where you meet people and the hostel experience comes to life.

Show up on your first night, grab a drink, and have a seat. Quite soon, you’ll have plans for dinner and a night out with us. Who knows, maybe you even sorted out the perfect Sintra gang the next day.

It’s not forced. It’s not awkward. It just works.

Dinners together
(Every Night, 8:00pm)

We cook, we eat, everyone sits together. Included in the “Not-So-Solo” (All-Inclusive) package. Vegetarian options always available!
Sit with strangers, talk about where you’ve been, make plans for tomorrow. Easiest way to meet people without trying.

Daily social activities in Lisbon

We don’t make you follow a blue umbrella (unless it’s raining!) but we do take you to some of our favorite spots in Lisbon together. From the famous open air market to a magical view point where we might make you use your painting skills or help you improve them. Our daily activities are just another way we ensure you are “Not-so-solo” in Lisbon (yes, they are part of our All-Inclusive Package)

Take Outs

We always say, we are not a “party hostel” but we have a “party vibe”. You may have met so many interesting people during dinner and open bar that you want to continue. Our staff goes out after their shift and takes everyone with them. This is not a pub crawl! There’s no charge, nor a list of bars we need to be at and leave from. Our staff just take our guests out and we do what feels right that night. Got an early flight and need rest? Luckily, everyone wanting to party just left the hostel. Sleep tight!

Sintra Day Trip (€60)

Small group tour (9 people max) in a van. We skip the crowds and show you the good stuff.

What we actually do:

  • Quinta da Regaleira (the cool palace with hidden tunnels)
  • Wander in a Local Beach!
  • Cabo da Roca (westernmost point of Europe—good for photos)
  • Forest – The woods of Sintra Natural Park
  • Secret Viewpoint & Liquors Tasting + Relish the Sintra Pastries
  • Meet a  Portuguese Cork Tree!

Why it’s better than other tours:

  • Small group = you actually talk to people and make friends
  • We go early or late to avoid tour bus crowds
  • Local guide who grew up in Sintra
  • Flexible-if you want more time somewhere, we adjust
  • Leaves every day. Book at reception.

Surf Lessons

Never surfed? No problem. We’ll set you up with lessons at the beach (40 minutes from Lisbon).

  • Full-day trip: €54 (includes lesson, board, wetsuit, transport), or 35€ without transport
  • Pick-up/drop-off at hostel
  • Lessons in Costa da Caparica
  • Book 1 day ahead at reception

Good way to get out of the city and meet other travellers.

Free Walking Tours
(Everyday at 10:30am)

Starting at Rossio square.

We’ll walk through Alfama, Chiado, and Bairro Alto with a local guide who actually makes history interesting. Takes about 3 hours. Free, but tip if you liked it (most people give €5-10).

Good way to get oriented on your first day and learn about the city.
