Now Goodmorning Solo Traveller Hostel.
It’s usually the children who inherit their parents’ business, but in Goodmorning Hostel, it was a mother who inherited her son’s activity. At the heart of the 2008 crisis, Beneditas son, João, had decided to sell his hostel to take a different path. Before such an opportunity, she thought: “why don’t you let the hostel with me?”
Back in the day, she didn’t understand much about the travel industry, but she was sure of one thing: embracing this challenge, she would put all of her heart and soul into it. Since then Goodmorning Hostel has been the best place to live in.
New hostel stories were on the way… This home was supposed to have more than a hot shower and a clean bed. It was supposed to have life. So, from the big, long breakfast in the morning passing by the daily tours to one daily hour of free beer and sangria and finishing with delicious homemade dinners, Goodmorning Hostel has it all to please travelers. With a big plus: the amazing staff! With them, it is easy to create connections while socializing directly with guests and create the best hostel stories ever. Here care and love set the standards of the hostel service, both staff and guests feel special since the first smile. It’s this homie atmosphere that fills people’s hearts! Well done Benedita!
Nowadays, the world has stopped. No one travels, no one leaves home. We’re living a state of fear that prevents us from living, exploring and hanging out together. However, this team takes it as a precious time to think about what really matters: to work and live like a family, every single day…
The Goodmorning Hostel hasn’t stopped. It’s still breathing. It keeps on fighting to ensure every new traveller feels safe and sound; to make every new traveller smile; to make every new traveller feel “I’m at home” like they’ve always belonged here.
It’s more than a hostel, it’s a family. And that is why our motto is: “ Arrive as a guest, leave us as a friend”.
