1 – What time is the check-in?
Our reception works 24 hours, so you can check-in at any time. Although the rooms are only available at 3 PM, you are allowed to use all the hostel’s common areas, including the showers and the kitchen, or just relax in our living room until your room is ready. You can also leave your bags in our luggage room for free and go visit the city. Don’t forget we are hidden in a souvenir shop, so just enter the building on the number 65 and ring the doorbell inside.
2 – What time is the check-out?
Our reception works 24 hours, so you can check out at any time until 11 AM. Guests that fail to check-out until 11 AM may be charged an extra night, or have their things removed from the room. When checking-out you must return your room key, otherwise you will be charged 5€ for its loss.
3 – Do I need to bring my own towels and linen?
Linen is provided for free to all our guests in any type of room. Towels are already included in the price of our private rooms. For guests staying in shared dorms towel hire is available for a price of 2€ each.
4 – Do you have lockers in all the rooms?
Yes. Our private rooms have their own safety box while in the shared dorms every bed has a big individual locker where we are pretty sure you can fit all your luggage. You might need a padlock, but if you didn’t bring one, you can buy or borrow one from us for a refundable deposit of 5€.
5 – Can I use your kitchen to cook?
Absolutely! Our kitchen is your kitchen and we have everything you need! Please note that during the night the kitchen is closed, but it is open from 7am to 11.30pm.
6 – Do you have a place for me to do my laundry?
Better than that, we will do it for you! We have a laundry service that costs only 6€. We will give you a big bag where you can fit all your dirty clothes and we will wash, dry and fold your clothes. If you have any specific instructions about how you want it washed or dried you can give them directly to our cleaning team.
7 – Do you have hairdryers?
Yes, we do. There are hairdryers in most of our toilets. Good ones even! In case you don’t find them or they are all in use, you can ask for one at the reception too.
8 – Can I get a bottom/top bunk bed?
You can send us an email with your request and we will try our best to allocate you in the bunk bed of your preference, but we can’t promise your request will be fulfilled. Sometimes, due to lack of availability, we have to switch reservations to make sure everyone has a bed. The best way is to ask upon check-in, before that we can’t compromise.
9 – I have to print a document. Can I do that at the hostel?
You sure can! Just send it to email@example.com after asking the receptionist and, as long as you don’t ask us to print 3 copies of your Master’s thesis (or anything with more than 20 pages), we will print it for free.
10 – I will have to pay upon arrival, what payment methods do you accept?
We only accept cash payments at the hostel. We do not accept payments using debit or credit card, but there’s an ATM right at our door where you can withdraw money. In case this is a problem please previously email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can find a suitable alternative.
11 – Which tours and activities do you have at the hostel? When do I need to sign up?
We have several activities and tours that you can read about here. Most of them do not require a pre sign up, but for those that do, the best time to do so is upon check-in.

13 – Is there an age restriction?
At Goodmorning Hostel, we try to give all our guests the best possible experience in Lisbon and we like to preserve the atmosphere we are already known for. Like most hostels and due to previous experiences, we have an age policy to make sure everybody feels comfortable. Guests under 18 years old and over 40 years old must contact us prior to booking. Reservations that fail to do so may be cancelled or rejected.
14 – I want to cancel my reservation, what is your cancelation policy?
If you made a standard booking you can cancel any night(s) of your stay without penalty if you do it with a minimum of two days in advance. If you do it later the first night will still be charged. If you made a non-refundable booking no refund will be given in case of cancelation.
15 – I want to work/volunteer at your hostel, how can I apply?
We’re very happy to know you’d like to be part of our staff. You can send your motivation letter and your work experience to email@example.com.
16 – I have a business and I want to collaborate with Goodmorning Hostel. What is the best way to contact you?
We are always looking for interesting partnerships. If you’d like to collaborate with us send us your proposal to firstname.lastname@example.org.

1 – Cancelation Policy: Please cancel your reservation two days prior to your arrival date to avoid a one night penalty.
2 – We do not accept credit or debit cards. All payments are done upon arrival, with cash only.
3 – To get inside the hostel, you will have to go through the souvenir shop at Praça dos Restauradores, 65. Please note we do not have elevators but will do our best to help you with your bags.
4 – Unless you book a private room, we cannot guarantee that you and your group will stay in the same room. Please send us an e-mail and we will try our best.
5 – We have a big lock in the room but you need to bring your own padlock!
6 – Due to previous experiences, guests aged under 18 and over 40 years old are kindly asked to send an e-mail prior to concluding their reservation.
